The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky held today a meeting dedicated to the issues of ensuring food security. Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov and deputies of parliamentary committees were invited to the discussion.

The People's Militia of Pridnestrovie from the date of its formation is 30. The decree on the formation of volunteer units was signed on March 17, 1992. Speaker of the Parliament Alexander Korshunov and Deputy of the Supreme Council Igor Buga laid flowers today at the capital's Memorial of Glory at the graves of the fallen defenders of Pridnestrovie.

The Supreme Council approved the report of the PMR Prosecutor's Office on the activities of the past year.

The Parliament considered at the plenary session more than 15 legislations, some of which contained a large number of amendments and were discussed for a long time. In particular, the measures to support citizens and entrepreneurs during the state of emergency and quarantine were extended by deputies.

Law-in-draft that improves the norms governing admission to master's programs and the conditions for obtaining further higher professional education was adopted by deputies in the final reading.

Deputies supported the legislative initiative of the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky on amending the Law "On the Budget of the Unified State Social Insurance Fund of the PMR for 2022" at the plenary session today. The amendments provide for additional payments for Russian pensioners, who are now suffering financial losses due to the exchange rate difference.

The PMR Supreme Council supported at the plenary session the legislative initiative of the PMR President to extend the regime of quarantine restrictions for another 3 months. The document was adopted in two readings at once.
