The Supreme Council deputies considered more than 20 issues at the plenary session today. Several legislations were withdrawn, moved to the next plenary session or rejected by the Supreme Council. A sufficient number of votes during the voting did not gain legislative initiatives related to amendments to the PMR Code of Administrative Offenses.

The Supreme Council supported the candidacy of Vyacheslav Kosinsky for the position of Commissioner for Human Rights in the PMR. The Ombudsman has been reappointed. He will protect the interests of citizens for the next 5 years.

Meeting of the Presidium of the Supreme Council was held today under the leadership of Speaker Alexander Korshunov. The parliamentarians considered a number of issues that will be included in the agenda of the next plenary sessions.

The Kirovsky microdistrict of the capital will become greener in the near future. At the initiative of the deputy of the Supreme Council for constituency No. 30 Grigory Dyachenko and at the request of the voters, the parliamentarian together with the activists of the district brought young trees from the forestry. It was distributed free of charge so that residents plant them near their homes and around kindergartens and schools.

A clinical diagnostic department for treatment of chronic viral hepatitis has been operating in the republic for more than two months. About 15 people are examined there every day. The branch was opened within the framework of the State Target Program for Prevention of Viral Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C. The deputies of the Supreme Council adopted it last summer. It has been already working.
