Citizens of Pridnestrovie, who are permanently registered in other states, but live in our republic, will be given the right to put a stamp on long-term registration at the place of stay in the PMR passport if they wish. Such an initiative for the second reading was considered at a meeting by the Parliamentary Committee on Legislation, Protection of the Rights and Freedoms of Citizens. The representative of the Tiraspol City Council of People's Deputies Aleksey Solovtsov emphasized in a commentary to the parliamentary press service that the initiative is based on voters' appeals and numerous examples.
The deputies of the Committee on Legislation, Protection of the Rights and Freedoms of Citizens decided to recommend to the Supreme Council to consider law-in-draft “On Amendments to the Law of the PMR “On the Right of Citizens of the PMR to Freedom of Movement, Choice of Place of Stay and Residence within the PMR” in the second reading.
Legislations that relate to changes in the laws on legal proceedings, on state duty, on universal military duty, in the Code of Administrative Offenses and in the Code of Civil Procedure, etc were considered in the course of the meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Legislation, Protection of the Rights and Freedoms of Citizens. The considered legislative initiatives will be recommended by the Committee for adoption at the plenary sessions in the first or second reading.
