People will no longer need an extract from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities and Individual Entrepreneurs when submitting an application to the court. The judicial authorities will be able to independently obtain the necessary information. The relevant legislations were considered by the deputies of the Committee on Legislation. The first reading at the plenary session is ahead.
Amendments are made to the Civil and Arbitration Procedure Codes. The changes will release legal entities and entrepreneurs from the obligation to provide an extract when submitting an application to the court. The simplification of the procedure will become possible thanks to the digitalization of public services and the work of the "System of interdepartmental data exchange". All city and district courts of the republic must connect to the information system. Therefore, the new regulation will come into force in 2022.
If a foreign legal entity or a foreign individual entrepreneur applies to the court, then it is necessary to provide an extract or other document confirming the legal status of the country where it is registered. The document must be translated into Russian, notarized and legalized.
In addition, the deputies of the Committee supported the adoption in the first reading of amendments to the law “On acts of civil status”. The changes are also related to the operation of the interdepartmental data exchange system. It is proposed to exempt citizens from providing certificates and documents from the registry office to the Unified State Social Insurance Fund. The Unified State Fund for Social Insurance will be able to send an electronic request for the necessary information to the database of the vital statistics bodies. Thus, the time for the provision of public services will be reduced. The law-in-draft will be considered at one of the plenary sessions.
