Schoolchildren of Bendery were awarded certificates and medals

The festive events were moved from the Alexander Nevsky Park to the Pavel Tkachenko Palace of Culture because of the rain yesterday. Real ball was organized there for graduates from three Bendery schools Nos. 15, 16 and 17. A red carpet was laid out in the hall for eleventh graders, along which they literally fell into another era. Parents, friends and teachers greeted the alumni with loud applause. The Chairman of the Supreme Council of the PMR Alexander Korshunov came to congratulate the children on the graduation from school. School No.16 is located in his constituency No.1 "Solnechny".

Certificates, medals and letters of thanks were presented to graduates by the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the PMR Alexander Korshunov, the Head of the housing and communal services department Sergey Yuretsky and other representatives of the city leadership.

Graduates, teachers and parents were read the congratulatory address of the Head of the state administration of the city of Bendery Roman Ivanchenko.

8 graduates finished school with medals: 6 – with gold medals, 2 – with silver medals in secondary schools No.15, 16 and 17 in Bendery this year.

After the presentation of documents on graduation from school, the graduates performed a farewell waltz on stage. Then they went outside and released white balloons with a blue bird into the sky and made wishes. The blue bird is a symbol of the guiding star. It brings happiness. This is a dream and belief in a miracle, a symbol of a good and bright future for graduates.
