The Report on the work of state administration of the city of Bendery in 2024

The series of reports of state administrations on the results of last year was opened by the head of state administration of the city of Bendery. Roman Ivanchenko told the leadership of the republic about the main achievements of the city in 2024, as well as about the key problems and prospects for their solution. The Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov, who is a deputy for Bendery electoral district No. 1 "Solnechny", and other deputies representing the interests of Bendery residents in parliament, Yuriy Kucherenko, Oleg Petrik, Anton Onufrienko and Ruslan Gareev, took part in the discussion. The head of the Bendery state administration in his report focused on the standard of living of the population, the main directions of social policy, industry and trade, and the situation in the sphere of housing and communal services.

The municipal budget of the city of Bendery remained subsidized in 2024. All incoming revenues were primarily directed to cover socially protected items: salaries of public sector employees, pensions and benefits. Other expense items were financed on a residual basis.

Republican and municipal development programs continued to operate. About 7 million rubles were spent within the framework of the Target Program for the Maintenance of the Housing Stock, Social and Cultural Facilities and Improvement of the Territory of the City of Bendery. The roof and facade of the Bendery School of the Youth Sports School named after Badanov were repaired, window units were replaced, and sidewalks were paved with tiles. Windows and doors were replaced and decorative elements of the building's facade were dismantled in the Central City Library. The work was carried out in kindergarten No. 40 in the "Shelkovy" microdistrict and of Bendery in other educational institutions of the city. New recreation areas appear in the city every year. One of them is the "Khomutyanovsky" park with a children's play complex and a workout area. Sports infrastructure is also developing. A modern football field appeared next to kindergarten No. 2 in 2024. The new sports attraction zone was opened as part of the implementation of voters' orders. Money from the Order Fund was sent by the deputy of the Supreme Council for constituency No. 2 "Memorial" Yuriy Kucherenko.

The Capital Investment Fund program continued to be implemented in Bendery. Construction and repair work was carried out in the Alexander Nevsky Fortress Park and in the Oktyabrsky Park on the embankment, Bendery Gymnasium No. 1 and Secondary Comprehensive School No. 15 of Bendery, the Pridnestrovian State Art Museum, the Tarasevich Pridnestrovian State Medical College, the Bendery Central City Hospital and other social facilities. Bendery is preparing to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War like other cities in Pridnestrovie. Work continues today on the improvement of the Memorial of Military Glory on Heroes' Square in Bendery. At the suggestion of President Vadim Krasnoselsky, new elements will appear there – information and art panels telling about the Odessa and Iasi-Kishinev operations. The Capital Investment Fund will be used to replace the paving slabs at the Memorial, renew the granite slabs with the names of the fallen heroes, and repair the 14-meter obelisk. All work will be completed by May 9. More than 2.5 million rubles were allocated from the 2024 republican budget for the large-scale reconstruction. One of the main problems of the city of Bendery is the road industry. 226 million rubles were allocated from the Road Fund for the repair of roads and intra-block driveways, as well as for the arrangement of parking lots and parking areas in Bendery from 2017 to 2024. However, there remains an acute problem with intra-block and intra-yard driveways in a city built up mainly with multi-story buildings. There are not enough funds for a full-fledged repair today. Financing is carried out on a residual basis. Broken asphalt in courtyards has long been one of the main topics of citizens' appeals to the deputies of the Supreme Council, who represent the interests of Bendery residents in parliament. Every year, parliamentarians allocate money from the Fund for the Execution of Voters' Orders for the improvement of local areas.

So, the territory of two courtyards near multi-story buildings on Leningradskaya Street and 40 Years of Victory Street was paved with paving slabs in the Bendery microdistrict "Solnechny" last summer. The funds from the Fund for Voters' Instructions were allocated by the deputy of the Supreme Council for constituency No. 1 "Solnechny" Alexander Korshunov and local deputies. Work on the improvement of paths, intra-block driveways and sidewalks has been carried out in the "Solnechny" constituency for many years.

Speaking about the work of state administration of Bendery, the head of the city Roman Ivanchenko spoke about the completion of work on the systematization of documents necessary for the commissioning of infrastructure facilities. This mainly concerns children's and sports grounds, which must meet all established standards.
