Deputy Chairman of the PMR Supreme Council Galina Antyufeeva commented on the results of the visit of the delegation of Pridnestrovie to Moscow.

The deputies considered a package of legislations that clarify the concept of "state order" in the first reading at the plenary session. The PMR Government has prepared a legislative initiative, according to which adjustments are made to the definitions used for exemption from customs duty and excise duty on goods and services that fall under the category of "state order".

A package of legislations aimed at securing the possibility of temporary importation of vehicles with foreign numbers in a simplified manner with the payment of a vignette fee not only for personal use, but also for the transportation of persons for a fee, industrial or commercial transportation of goods for a fee or free of charge with the possibility of temporary transfer by the declarant of an imported vehicle to another individual, subject to the confirmation of the right to use the vehicle by the person to whom the temporarily imported vehicle was transferred, was considered today by parliamentarians in the first reading.

The PMR Supreme Council Deputies adopted in the second final reading a package of legislations aimed at preventing traffic accidents related to the health of vehicle drivers, reducing deaths and injuries among people involved in road traffic.

The PMR Supreme Council took note of the "Main Directions of the Unified State Monetary Policy for 2023" today. The document was developed by the PRB and approved by the Banking Council.

The Supreme Council deputies adopted amendments to the law "On State Pension Provision of Citizens in the PMR" in the second final reading. The opportunity to receive a pension by proxy is increased to 1 year.

Meeting of the Collegium of the PMR Ministry of Internal Affairs was held via videoconference, at which the department reported on its work in 2022. The PMR Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov, Vice Speaker Galina Antyufeeva and Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Legislation, Law Enforcement Agencies, Defense, Security, Peacekeeping, Protection of Citizens' Rights and Freedoms Gregory Dyachenko took part in the online meeting.

The online meeting of the PMR Supreme Council Presidium under the leadership of the PMR Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov took place on January 31. The chairmen of the parliamentary committees and commissions determined the agendas of the plenary sessions scheduled for February 1 and 8.

The secondary vocational education system optimization issues were discussed today at a meeting with the President. Speaker of the Parliament Alexander Korshunov, Head of the specialized parliamentary education committee Igor Buga, representatives of the Ministry of Education and PSU took part in the discussion.
