Pridnestrovie celebrated its main holiday – 32 years since the formation of the PMR as an independent state. The capital has traditionally become the center of festive events in the republic. The first persons of the state took part in the celebrations on the occasion of the country's birthday.

Deputies of the Supreme Council took part in the solemn meeting timed to coincide with the 32nd anniversary of the founding of the PMR. The event was held in the great hall of the Palace of the Republic.
