The Parliament Speaker Alexander Korshunov addressed Pridnestrovians, citizens of Russia and compatriots on the occasion of the celebration of the Day of Russia.

“The President's Family for Healthy Lifestyle” regatta in dragon boat rowing started in Pridnestrovie for the second time. The dragon boat regatta was held in Bendery last year, Tiraspol hosted the participants this year. The team of the PMR Supreme Council took part in the regatta in subgroup No.1 among civil ministries and departments.

The PMR Supreme Council deputies considered and adopted the Concept of Budgetary and Tax Policy in the second final reading at the plenary session. The document is designed for three years, from 2024 to 2026. The first year for which the budget is drawn up, the next two are the planning period, when real trends in the socio-economic development of the republic are traced.

The Supreme Council deputies heard and approved the reports on the work of four state media today.

The amendments and additions to the Law of the PMR "On counteracting extremist activities" as well as to the Civil Procedure and Criminal Codes of the PMR were supported by deputies in the second final reading at the plenary session.

The initiative of the President to expand the categories of recipients of state subsidies for the purchase of housing was supported by the Parliament in two readings.

Chairman of the Pridnestrovian Republican Bank Vladislav Tidva presented a report on the activities of the PRB for 2022 in the course of the plenary session of the PMR Supreme Council.
