The Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic extended the construction amnesty for another year. The corresponding amendments to the law “On some additional government measures aimed at minimizing the negative impact of external economic factors” were adopted in the first reading today. The construction amnesty has been in effect in Pridnestrovie since 2016, the period was extended several times and was supposed to be over at the end of this year.
The right will appear after the law-in-draft adoption in the second reading until the end of 2024 in a simplified manner without paying a fine to legitimize objects built before January 1, 2021:
– one-story residential buildings located on land plots from the category of land in settlements;
– single-apartment residential buildings with a height of more than one floor, located on land plots from the category of land in settlements;
– houses located on land plots provided to individuals for gardening (garden houses, garden houses, summer houses);
– extensions to this category of houses;
– outbuildings for keeping livestock and poultry, growing agricultural products, storing household and other equipment, vehicles, products, etc., as well as to meet the needs of human life (eating and preparing food, personal hygiene, etc.) .
The Supreme Council adopted changes to the law that expanded the construction amnesty in September. It applies to objects that were inherited not only before 2016 (when the construction amnesty was adopted), but also after this period.
