Graduate residents were awarded diplomas of education in the capital. 73 doctors in a variety of specialties, ranging from surgery and oncology to general practitioners, will come to their workplaces throughout the republic tomorrow. The Council of People's Deputies of Kamenka district and Kamenka elected a new chairman at an extraordinary session on July 11. Deputies of the Supreme Council adopted in the first reading the law-in-draft of the PMR “On approval of the state target program “Development of the state educational institution “Pridnestrovian State University named after Taras Shevchenko” for 2025-2029.”
The PMR Supreme Council supported in the second final reading the law-in-draft of the PMR Government, which amends the law “On state pension provision for citizens in the PMR” and is intended to improve the legal regulation of the procedure for payment and delivery of pensions.
Parliamentarians adopted in the second final reading amendments and additions to the law “On the Fundamentals of Protecting Citizens’ Health”. Now the spouse, as well as close relatives of a citizen after his death will be able to get acquainted with and receive medical documentation and extracts from them. If during his lifetime the citizen or his legal representative did not prohibit the disclosure of such information.
The Supreme Council adopted a package of legislations aimed at tightening the rules for the circulation of nicotine-containing products to protect the life and health of children and youth in final reading. Nicotine-containing products will now include nicotine-free liquid, which means vapes containing or not containing nicotine. It is prohibited to sell them to persons under 18 years of age.
The one-time adoption benefit could increase 10 times. The Government's law-in-draft on amendments to the law “On State Benefits for Citizens with Children,” designed to encourage citizens to adopt orphans and children left without parental care, was considered by deputies of the Supreme Council in the first reading.
