The PMR Supreme Council held the 20th plenary meeting and closed the VII session of the VII convocation on July 17. Almost 200 laws have been adopted in their final reading, including measures to support the population and business entities over the past 6 months.
An information hour on the issue of the high cost of geodetic work for the population was held in the Supreme Council. Representatives of relevant ministries and departments as well as heads of enterprises carrying out geodetic activities in the republic answered the questions of the deputies.
Deputies and government representatives at a plenary meeting of the Supreme Council discussed law-in-draft that proposes to increase the maximum permissible age for young families who receive state subsidies for the purchase of housing. Parliamentarians Oleg Bayev and Sergei Pisarenko proposed giving the right to a subsidy if one of the spouses is under 40 years old.
The deputy corps approved at a plenary meeting on July 17 in the final reading changes to the law “On Customs Tariffs” which are designed to create more favorable conditions for the development of tourism in the republic.
Amendments to the law “On personal income tax” were considered by deputies of the PMR Supreme Council in the second final reading. The initiative of parliamentarians Galina Antyufeyeva and Oleg Petrik proposed expanding the “young specialist” category so that a teacher who works in an educational institution, but does not have a pedagogical education, could receive the standard tax deduction.
The Supreme Council adopted amendments to the law “On Voters’ Orders” in the final reading. The right to formulate voter mandate programs based on written requests from people is legally established.
Law-in-draft, which will enable employees of geodetic municipal unitary enterprises and state unitary enterprises to work under a simplified taxation system, was considered by the PMR Supreme Council at a plenary meeting in the second final reading.
The PMR Supreme Council will hold the 20th meeting of the VII session of the VII convocation on July 17. It will close the spring session of the Pridnestrovian Parliament.
New football ground has been opened in Bendery in Kishinevskaya Street. The initiator of the improvement of the vacant lot, long abandoned near high-rise buildings, was the residents. They turned to their deputy of the Supreme Council for electoral district No. 2 “Memorial” Yuri Kucherenko with a request for help in this matter.
The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky held a traditional Monday morning video conference with heads of public and administrative authorities on July 15. The PMR Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov took part in the meeting.
