The Secondary School No. 7 of Tiraspol celebrated its 80th anniversary on October 22. The event took place today at the Cultural and Educational Center at PSU. The celebration was attended by teachers, students, parents, graduates and honorary guests, principals of schools and educational institutions, representatives of the city administration and the city council. Deputy of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic from constituency No. 29 "Odessky" Igor Buga congratulated the school staff and presented the teachers with well-deserved awards.
School No. 7, founded during the Great Patriotic War, is one of the oldest in Tiraspol. Almost 500 students sat at their desks in this school in the fall of 1944. There were children of different ages, united by the desire for knowledge among them.
Tatyana Podpletneva emphasized that the institution has acquired its individuality and a good reputation over the past years. Now School No. 7 is actively developing, its students win not only republican, but also international Olympiads and competitions, which confirms the high level of training.
Deputy of the Supreme Council Igor Buga noted the importance of supporting educational institutions.
The school director expressed gratitude for the support that the educational institution receives from its friends and partners, thanks to which the school continues to develop dynamically and achieve high results.
Many warm words were said about the teachers who have raised more than one generation of talented and goal-oriented graduates today. The school's director Tatyana Podpletneva noted at the end of the event that the school's staff will continue to cherish and develop the established traditions, as well as strive for new achievements, confidently looking to the future.
