News of the Supreme Council

The Moldovan authorities began a large-scale aggression against the young republic on June 19, 1992: the armed forces of the Republic of Moldova broke into Bendery. This morning the leadership of the republic laid flowers at the Monument of Memory and Sorrow in Bendery.

Pridnestrovian towns are hosting today commemorative events dedicated to the memory of the defenders of the republic and civilians who died in the summer of 1992.

32 years have passed since the tragedy in Bendery. Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov on the occasion of the mournful date addressed the Pridnestrovians.

Amendments to the law “On the Unified State Register of Immovable Objects of Cultural Heritage” were approved by parliament in the course of the meeting held on June 13 in the second reading.

Amendments and additions to the law “On the protection of children from information harmful to their health and development”, developed by the PMR Government, were adopted in the second final reading.
