Presidential scholarships - to the best students

108 certificates for the scholarship of the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic were presented today to the best Pridnestrovian students. Among them are not only students of universities and colleges, but also students of music, art and sports schools. All of them are excellent students, sportsmen, creative individuals.

One of the holders of the presidential scholarship is a fifth-year student of the Faculty of Law of the Pridnestrovian State University Andrei Donica. He has been receiving the scholarship of the head of state for the second year in a row.

Andrei Donica is currently in his final year. He plans to work in his specialty in his native Pridnestrovie after receiving his diploma.

Totally more than 2 thousand students of additional and vocational education organizations have received the scholarship of the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic since 2001. The most talented and hardworking representatives of the younger generation of Pridnestrovians were congratulated today by Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Galina Antyufeeva.

Galina Antyufeeva noted that today's achievements are the merit of not only students, but their parents, as well as teachers who put their hearts into their students.

Chairman of the relevant parliamentary Committee on Education, Public Associations and Mass Media Igor Buga spoke today about the importance of state support for young people.

Student of the Pridnestrovian State University Anastasia Tsaryuk made a response speech on behalf of the holders of the presidential scholarship. She thanked the leadership of the republic for supporting the youth.

Students from more than 20 organizations of vocational and additional education became holders of the presidential scholarship this year. Scholarship recipients will receive a monthly payment of 40 to 93 minimum wages throughout the academic year, which is 388 to 902 rubles depending on the category.
