A traditional meeting of the parliamentary Presidium was held today in the briefing hall of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. The first issue on the agenda was to determine the date of the plenary session of the Supreme Council. Speaker of the Parliament Alexander Korshunov proposed to postpone the meeting scheduled for October 23 to October 30. The Presidium agreed with this proposal by a majority vote. The heads of the parliamentary Committees voiced then proposals for filling the agenda of the plenary session on October 30 with legislations.
The Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance prepared for consideration in the first reading the bills proposed by the Government, which relate to the field of taxation. The deputy corps will consider amendments to the laws "On Procurement" and "On the State List of Small Privatization Objects for 2023-2024", and to the program of voters' orders for 2024.
The Committee on Education, Public Associations and Mass Media submitted for consideration by the deputy corps draft amendments to the laws "On the Museum Fund and Museums in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic" and "On the Organization of the Provision of Public Services".
The Chairperson of the Accounts Chamber of the PMR Svetlana Izmestieva was invited to the meeting of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. She presented to the Presidium, as well as to the official representatives of the Government of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, information on the results of unscheduled control (expert-analytical) measures on the validity and feasibility of planning the relevant socially protected areas of expenditure as part of local budget expenditures in 2022-2024. The Government and parliamentary committees will conduct work to study the information provided in order to subsequently minimize the number of orders issued by the Accounts Chamber based on the results of inspections.
