The State support measures for deferring tax payments extended until 2025

The measure of state support for business entities of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic will continue to operate in 2025, according to which enterprises experiencing difficulties due to the impact of negative external factors will be able to receive a deferral (installment) for tax payments to the republican or local budgets. The Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic adopted amendments to the law "On the Fundamentals of the Tax System in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic " today at a plenary session in two readings at once. This support measure has been in effect in Pridnestrovie since 2023. The deputy corps supported the Government's initiative to extend the rule on the possibility of deferring (installment plan) of tax payments without paying interest for the next year.

8 enterprises applied for the support measure of deferring (installment plan) of tax payments to be transferred to the republican budget and the state extra-budgetary fund (in the amount of 48 million rubles) and 14 enterprises (in the amount of 14 million rubles) for deferring (installment plan) of tax payments to be transferred to local budgets in 2024. The benefit does not imply exemption from taxes, but only makes it possible to pay them later or in installments.

According to the Government representative, it is necessary to contact the Ministry of Finance, and to defer tax payments to local budgets, enterprises and organizations are recommended to send an application to the state administration of the city or district in order to receive the opportunity to defer (installment plan) tax payments to the republican budget and the budget of the Unified State Social Insurance Fund.
