Changes have been made to the Capital Investment Fund for 2024

Changes have been made to the Capital Investment Fund for 2024, which will allow for the completion of major repairs of a number of social infrastructure facilities this year. The Supreme Council supported the amendments to the law "On the Republican Budget for 2024", initiated by the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in the second final reading today.

Additional limits have been added for several facilities. One of them is the building of the infectious diseases department of the Republican Clinical Hospital, where a large construction project is underway. Major repairs of the infectious diseases department of the medical campus began in March of this year. About 9.5 million rubles were planned. The builders dismantled all the old networks, partitions, and after a complete redevelopment, they began finishing work. It is necessary by the end of the year to replace the networks: heat, water, electricity. Install an elevator, which was never there, but the allocated funding is not enough for everything.

Another 10 million rubles will be added to complete the work in the health complex "Dnistrovskie Zori": about 5 million rubles for landscaping the territory and about 5 million rubles to continue repair work. The allocated limits are also not enough to complete the construction of the city stadium in the city of Dnestrovsk.

Changes are being made to the cost estimate of the PMR Road Fund based on appeals from the heads of state administrations of Bendery, Grigoriopol, Rybnitsa and Kamenka districts. Additional funding within the framework of the PMR Road Fund will be directed to the capital repairs of the road along Lenin Street in Rybnitsa after the replacement of utility networks, to subsidies of the state administration of Grigoriopol for the elimination of emergency situations on the bypass road and to finance the pre-project inspection of three automobile bridges.

Viktor Guzun also reported on the redistribution of funds under the state program for the purchase of housing for orphans. By the second reading of the law-in-draft, the amendment was initiated by the Government. There was a serious discussion on this issue at a meeting of the Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance, but in the end the Supreme Council adopted it.

The main parameters of the republican, local and consolidated budgets will change after the adoption of the proposed changes. They are also spelled out in the law-in-draft. The draft law "On the republican budget for 2024" was adopted in the second final reading and will enter into force after signing by the PMR President and publication.
