News of the Supreme Council

97.1% of the citizens of Pridnestrovie spoke in favor of recognizing the independence of the PMR and further joining the Russian Federation 15 years ago. The second referendum on the independence of Pridnestrovie was held in our republic on September 17, 2006.

At the extraordinary IV congress of the Union of Industrialists of Agrarians and Entrepreneurs of Pridnestrovie, industrialists, agrarians and entrepreneurs of the republic nominated Vadim Krasnoselsky as a candidate for President of the PMR. The guests of honor of the meeting were the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the PMR Alexander Korshunov, Vice-Speaker Galina Antyufeyeva and parliamentarians who head factories and enterprises.

The Youth Parliament of the IV convocation under the Supreme Council of the PMR today approved the structure, composition and leadership of committees and commissions. Plans for further work were announced.

27 polling stations will be opened in Pridnestrovie on September 19. Pridnestrovians with Russian citizenship will be able to vote in towns and districts of the republic. The deputies of the Supreme Council called on citizens to take part in the elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation.

The enterprises of the garment and footwear industry that operate on a tolling scheme, will have their tax breaks extended for 2022. The Supreme Council at once in two readings supported the amendments to the law-in-draft “On additional measures aimed at stabilizing the PMR economy”.

The financing costs of the Capital Investment Fund have been increased. The Supreme Council in the final reading adopted the amendments to the 2021 budget.

Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Legislation, Protection of the Rights and Freedoms of Citizens Oleg Petrik called on Pridnestrovians with Russian citizenship to show maximum activity in the elections of Russian deputies.
