The Women's Strike Committee of Pridnestrovie celebrates its 30th anniversary today. The events were attended by the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the PMR Alexander Korshunov and guest from Belarus – Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Bashkortostan Nikolai Yerkovich.

The first of September was celebrated in Dubossary gymnasium No. 1. Deputy of the Supreme Council in the constituency No.11 "Central" Boris German came to the solemn assembly dedicated to the Day of Knowledge.

The Day of Knowledge was celebrated in the capital's secondary schools No.16 and No.18. The celebratory assemblies gathered only first graders and eleventh graders. Deputy of the PMR Supreme Council in the electoral district No.32 "Komsomolsky" Andrey Mezhinsky and deputies of the Tiraspol City Council came to congratulate the young people.

The Parliament Speaker congratulated schoolchildren, students, their parents and teachers of the republic on the Day of Knowledge.

The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky held a press conference on the eve of the celebration of the 31st anniversary of the founding of the PMR. Chairman of the Supreme Council of the PMR Alexander Korshunov and Vice Speaker Galina Antyufeyeva were among the guests at the Presidential Administration.

Deputy of the Supreme Council for electoral district No. 11 "Central" in Dubossary Boris German presented prizes and diplomas to the teams participating in the local history adventure game "The Land We Live In".
