The State Support for Light Industry

The enterprises of the garment and footwear industry that operate on a tolling scheme, will have their tax breaks extended for 2022. These industries have been hit hard by the pandemic and restrictive measures in countries that have bought our products. Reduced coefficient of 1.05 is applied to income from services and work on tailoring products from tolling raw materials for enterprises operating on a tolling scheme.

The parliamentarian added that the tax break is a very effective aid and assistance to the Pridnestrovian economic agents.

The Supreme Council deputies in the course of the plenary session today adopted amendments to the law "On additional measures aimed at stabilizing the economy of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic" in two readings at once. Its goal is to prevent deterioration in the performance of such enterprises.

From January to May this year, thanks to state support measures, the volume of production of light industry in comparison with the same period in 2020 increased by 16.5% and amounted to almost 640 million rubles, the Deputy Minister of Economic Development noted.

The adopted amendments to the law "On additional measures aimed at stabilizing the economy of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic" are directed to the signature of the President.
