16.09.2021

The Youth Parliament of the IV convocation under the Supreme Council of the PMR today approved the structure, composition and leadership of committees and commissions. There are 10 of them in total: 7 committees and 3 commissions. These are education, healthcare, economics, legislation, sports, tourism, ecology, development of international relations, etc. Each of the 41 young deputies chose in which committee and commission he would work and propose his ideas for improving legislation and holding various events.

2021 is the Year of Youth, so it is a duty and responsibility for the Youth Parliament to create a number of broad opportunities for realizing the potential of youth, young parliamentarians consider.

There are proposals in various spheres, for example, in education, the deputies of the Youth Parliament will pay attention to online training and the introduction of vocational guidance courses.

The new composition of the Youth Parliament will continue the work begun by their colleagues - deputies of the Youth Parliament of the III convocation. Over the past five years, young deputies have participated in the adoption of laws, for example, in support of young families who want to buy housing, against the sale of nicotine-containing mixtures to minors.

Now the Youth Parliament of the IV convocation adopts the experience and learns the basics of developing state decisions. The young people do not stay away from the events taking place in the republic. They called on the Pridnestrovian youth to take part in the elections to the State Duma of Russia.

Members of the Youth Parliament consider it their duty to express their opinion and position through voting. Pridnestrovian youth, who are to lay the foundation for a worthy future of our republic, should be aware of and understand this, young parliamentarians noted.

In addition, the deputies today have adopted regulations and outlined plans. Meetings of the committees will be held at the end of October, where the vector and directions of work will be determined. This is lawmaking, holding events, defining the functions of committees and commissions. For example, the Committee for Interaction with Public, Religious Organizations and the Media will prepare announcements and press releases, and the Commission for Rules and Ethics will resolve personnel issues. There are also two vacancies in the Youth Parliament. Today the advisory body contacted the Bendery City Council to announce an additional recruitment.
