News of the Supreme Council

The Government proposed a new measure to reduce the debts of citizens and enterprises for utility bills. Amendments and additions to the law “On Enforcement Proceedings” were adopted by the Supreme Council in the first reading.

Parliamentarians together with the draft budget 2024 traditionally considered in the first reading at the plenary session the draft budget of the PMR Unified State Social Insurance Fund for 2024.

The Supreme Council Deputies considered and adopted the draft law on the budget for 2024 in the first reading. The main parameters and directions of the main financial document were announced by Minister of Finance Alena Ruskevich.

The Supreme Council adopted a draft of a new state target program concerning the development of the republic's drinking water supply system in the first reading. The document is mainly aimed at providing water to villages and towns.

The Supreme Council adopted law-in-draft extending the construction amnesty until the end of 2024 in the second final reading. The period increased when economic facilities on land plots had to be built at the same time.

A group of parliamentarians presented a legislative initiative, according to which it would become mandatory to maintain a register of thriftless real estate properties. There has long been a problem of mismanaged real estate, abandoned buildings in the republic. A special working group was created in the Supreme Council to solve this problem.

The PMR Supreme Council Deputies adopted law-in-draft that will give citizens the right to choose when paying for utility service in the first readings in the first reading: pay current payments or contribute money to debts, and collect debts first of all from the population by utility companies at the legal level. Deputies of the Committee on Regional Policy and Housing and Communal Services propose to make amendments to the Civil Code of Pridnestrovie.

The meeting of the Presidium took place in the PMR Supreme Council. The heads of parliamentary committees outlined legislations that will additionally be introduced at tomorrow's plenary session.

International Day of the Blind is celebrated on the 13th of November. The events dedicated to this date were held on the initiative of Deputy of the Supreme Council of the PMR Ilona Tyuryaeva at constituency No. 28 “Central”. They ended with a festive concert, which took place today at the Rassvet production facility.

The Parliament Speaker Alexander Korshunov took part in a video conference of the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky and the public and administrative authorities.
