Amendments and additions are proposed to be made to 7 laws. The relevant Committee and the PMR Government have prepared amendments of a clarifying nature for the second reading.

The Committee on Education, Public Associations and Mass Media reviewed reports on the implementation of three state target programs in the field of culture and education. They will be presented to the deputy corps at a meeting of the PMR Supreme Council in the near future.

Deputies Igor Buga, Andrei Safonov and Pavel Shinkaryuk proposed expanding the provisions of the laws "On the Protection of Children from Information Harmful to Their Health and Development" and "On Librarianship". Educational organizations of all levels are going to receive the right to independently develop and approve educational programs. Certification and accreditation will be combined into one procedure. The corresponding package of legislations was initiated by deputies of the Committee on Education, Public Associations and Mass Media Igor Buga, Andrei Safonov and Pavel Shinkaryuk.

Budget graduates who have received higher medical education are required to work for 3 to 5 years upon completion of their studies, according to the current legislation. Deputies Galina Antyufeeva and Oleg Petrik proposed reducing this period to 3 years.

The legislative initiative of the deputies of the specialized parliamentary Committee on Education, Public Associations and Mass Media, which will enshrine at the legislative level the mechanism for the transition of students from fee-based education to education at the expense of the republican budget, has been prepared for the second reading.

An online meeting on the implementation of the state target program for the acquisition of housing for orphans was held at the site of the parliamentary committee on education, public associations and the media.
