Resident students who study at the expense of public funds will have to conclude an agreement obliging them to work in their profession for up to 3 years in government organizations. The deputies adopted the corresponding amendments to the law "On Education" in the first reading.

The PMR Supreme Council approved Vladislav Tidva as the Chairman of the PRB at a plenary meeting in the online format today. The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky sent the proposal to the Parliament on the appointment of his candidacy for this post.

If a driver is brought to administrative responsibility for consumption of narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances without a doctor's prescription, then in addition to the main fine, an additional punishment will be applied to him – withdrawal of a driver's license for a certain period. The amendments, initiated by the PMR President were adopted by the Supreme Council in two readings at once at a plenary-online meeting.

Plenary session was held in the Supreme Council, which was fully devoted to the consideration of the law-in-draft "On the republican budget for 2022" today.

An important political event of the year took place in Pridnestrovie – the election of the President. The deputies of the Youth Parliament voted for the further development of the republic and new opportunities for the younger generation.

Vadim Krasnoselsky presented candidates to the Supreme Council for appointment to the posts of the PMR Prosecutor and Chairman of the PRB Anatoly Guretsky and Vladislav Tidva.

79.4% of those who voted supported the current President. Vadim Krasnoselsky was recognized as the elected PMR President for the next five years. The results of the elections were announced by the Chairperson of the CEC Elena Gorodetskaya.

On the day of the presidential elections, Pridnestrovie was visited by deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation and senators of the Federation Council.

The issue of the timing of consideration of the law-in-draft "On the republican budget for 2022" was discussed at the extraordinary meeting of the Presidium of the Supreme Council.
