Festive events on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the formation of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic continued in the Catherine Park, where colorful farmsteads unfolded.

Pridnestrovie celebrated 33 years since its formation. The capital has traditionally become the center of festive events in the republic. The top officials of the state took part in the celebrations on the occasion of the birthday of the PMR.

The Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov congratulated the Pridnestrovians on the 33rd anniversary of the formation of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.

Day of Knowledge was celebrated today not only in schools, but also in the main university of the country. Building "B" was solemnly opened after the reconstruction in the Pridnestrovian State University. The ceremony was attended by the President of the Pridnestrovie Vadim Krasnoselsky, the PMR Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov, head of the Parliamentary Committee on Education, Science, Public Associations and Mass Media Igor Buga.

The Day of Knowledge was traditionally held on the first day of autumn in all educational institutions of the republic. 290 first-year students began their studies at the Agrarian and Technical College named after Frunze.

The PMR Supreme Council deputies took part in the solemn assembly and congratulated the schoolchildren of their constituencies.
