The oldest university building is open after a global reconstruction

The oldest building of the State University, from which the history of the then Tiraspol Pedagogical Institute began almost a century ago, does not look at all its respectable age. Builders entered instead of students the Building "B" in January of this year, they did what seemed impossible.

Building "B" was not just repaired, but also made a partial redevelopment. Several rooms that had not been used for their intended purpose for a long time were redone. There were more audiences in the building. Instead of the previous 25, there are now 34. Previously, the classrooms could accommodate 740 students, now 960. The President and Chairman of the Supreme Council walked around the building and saw the main changes with their own eyes.

14 laboratories and 6 computer classes were reequipped with funds from the Capital Investment Fund. The resource center, planetarium and observatory have been updated. The Quantum multifunctional digital education center opened its doors. This is a special pride of the Pridnestrovian State University, the rector notes. After all, a school of robotics, a school of programming, and a design bureau will operate on its basis. They joke at the university that it is quite possible that in a year or two they will start making their own drones. There are enough talented scientists and inquisitive minds in the republic.

Renovation of building "B" does not end with the transformations in the main university of the country. The PMR President spoke about this at the grand opening of the building in his welcoming speech. Vadim Krasnoselsky added that the student campus, building "B", buildings of the economic and engineering faculties are next in line. The President emphasized the high quality of Pridnestrovian education.

Lectures for students in building "B" will begin on the 5th of September.
