Deputies of the Supreme Council heard the report of the Human Rights Ombudsman in the PMR Vyacheslav Kosinsky on the work over the past year.

It was discussed by members of “The Obnovlenie” (Renewal) parliamentary faction on the eve of the plenary meeting.

Chairman of the Committee on Social Policy, Health Care and Labor Sergey Cheban took part in the Question of the Day program on the First Pridnestrovian TV channel.

Presidium of the Supreme Council approved the agenda for the next plenary meetings.

Deputy of the Supreme Council Valentin Matveychuk spoke about the beautiful places of recreation of the Rybnitsa district.

Pridnestrovian minors who use devices that simulate tobacco smoking, as well as adults who involve children in the process of tobacco use and the use of devices that simulate tobacco use, will face administrative responsibility. The corresponding changes in the Administrative Code at the plenary session were adopted in final reading by deputies of the PMR Supreme Council.

The Supreme Council adopted amendments and additions to the law “On Additional Guarantees for the Social Protection of Orphans and Children Left Without Parental Care” in the final reading.

The Code of Administrative Offenses, according to which drivers will be fined for using phones while driving, was supplemented. It is permitted to talk by phone using special gadgets.

One working day will be counted for three days in the working experience for medical personnel, employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and volunteers who are struggling with the spread of coronavirus infection in the republic. This is a period of emergency and quarantine. The Supreme Council adopted the law-in-draft of the PMR President today in two readings.
