The status of orphans and children without parental care will be extended to 27 years old for those Pridnestrovians of this category who have not completed higher education before the age of 25. Changes and amendments to the law “On additional guarantees for the social protection of orphans and children left without parental care” were adopted by the Supreme Council in final reading.
According to the adopted law, the term for the payment of benefits will also be extended until the end of the educational institution. Additions to the law are related to the fact that in some cases, orphans and children left without parental care are 25 years old during the training period. This does not allow them fully statutory guarantees, including one-time employment allowance.
Together with this law-in-draft, it was decided that at the expense of the state budget, education at various levels can be received only once.
