The work of young parliamentarians

09.03.2022

Regular plenary session of the PMR Youth Parliament was held. It was devoted this time to several important issues at once. Among them there is assistance to young and enterprising people who sent their projects to participate in the competition "100 Ideas for Pridnestrovie", preparation of amendments to the current legislation and much more.

The "100 ideas for Pridnestrovie" competition was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Education. The ideas that can be implemented in the republic in order to develop various spheres of life were sent from all towns and districts. Members of the Youth Parliament took the initiative. They decided to help in the implementation of projects so that they would not remain only on paper.

He noted that some of the projects that were presented by high school students from Pridnestrovian schools, these very people most actively participated in the competition "100 Ideas for Pridnestrovie", duplicate what is already working in our republic. For example, one of the contestants developed a tourist route to the holy places in Pridnestrovie that operates in the Tourism Agency. The project will not be put aside even in such cases. The contestant will be told who else is working in the republic on the designated topic and who can offer their ideas in the future.

However, there are real innovative works among the presented projects. A young man from Dnestrovsk, for example, presented his idea in the power industry. Most likely, it could not have done without the help of adults, the Youth Parliament noted.

Such work with projects that were submitted to the contest "100 ideas for Pridnestrovie" can give its participants an impetus for further education and development in the chosen field, the young parliamentarians consider.

Among other issues on the agenda of the plenary session is the replenishment in the Youth Parliament itself. A letter on competitive recruitment for two vacant seats in the Youth Parliament will be sent to Pridnestrovian State University in the near future. A special committee will be set up to consider candidates. The parliament chairman knows exactly what kind of youth they need now.
