News of the Supreme Council

Amendments and additions to the legislations that relate to fishing and payments for the use of natural resources were adopted today by the Parliament in the second final reading. The amendments provide for permission, albeit with some reservations, to catch catfish on the territory of the republic. So far, catfish had been banned for fishermen.

The PMR Supreme Council adopted a package of legislations that will increase the efficiency of relations in the field of enterprises bankruptcy and help resolve long-term disputes in courts in the first reading at the online plenary session on March 1.

Some categories of adult children will not need to prove the fact of dependence in court in order to receive a survivor's pension. The deputies supported the PMR Prosecutor’s legislations in the final reading.

The Supreme Council deputies adopted amendments and additions to the Law of the PMR "On income tax from individuals" in the second final reading. The legislative initiative will regulate the mechanism for granting a tax deduction for young professionals.
