The Supreme Council deputies adopted in the first reading the legislations of their colleagues concerning the establishment of responsibility for violating the rules for advertising medicines, traditional medicine, evaporative mixtures and devices imitating tobacco smoking.

Entrepreneurs, owners of self-service car washes with automatic bill acceptors will be given the opportunity to work under patents. Proposed by the PMR Government the amendments to the law on the patent system of taxation were adopted by the Supreme Council in the first reading.

Deputies discussed the PMR Supreme Court report on the work of the past year and asked questions of interest to the head of the judicial body Adrian Penkovsky.

The Supreme Council approved the decree of the PMR President on the extension of the state of emergency in the economy until April 20 inclusive. The decision was made today at the 3rd Extraordinary Plenary Session of the Parliament.

The Parliament Speaker Alexander Korshunov congratulated the PMR Meteorological Service employees on their professional holiday.

The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky held a meeting dedicated to the fate of the Polytechnic University of Slobodzeya. Representatives of the PMR Government, the Ministry of Education, the leadership of the district administration, the district city council and of the technical school were invited to the working discussion. The meeting was attended by the Deputy of the Supreme Council for the constituency No.21 "Slobodzeya" Pavel Shynkaruk.

The Supreme Council Presidium sent questions to the Government about the work of the executive authority. According to the legislation, the answers together with the report on the results of 2022 must be submitted to the Parliament by May 1.

The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky met with deputies of Slobodzeya District City Council, deputies of the Supreme Council for Slobodzeya constituency and representatives of public organizations of the town and the region.

The PMR Supreme Council Presidium decided today to postpone the plenary session scheduled for March 22 to March 23. It will take place online.

The President Vadim Krasnoselsky is against changing the terms of the contract for paid education at Pridnestrovian State University in the middle of the academic year. The President wrote about this in his telegram channel.
