The President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic continues dialogues with deputies of local Councils of People's Deputies. Vadim Krasnoselsky met last week with the deputies of the Tiraspol and Bendery city councils. Topical issues of the development of the region and the republic as a whole were discussed today in the plenary session hall of the Slobodzeya city district council. The meeting with the President was attended by the deputies of the Supreme Council for Slobodzeya districts Pavel Shinkaryuk, Oleg Vasilaty, Sergey Cheban, Igor Yarych, Ivan Nedelkov and Stepan Stepanov, the Head of the district Vasily Tishchenko and social activists.
One of the main issues of the meeting with the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic is the fate of the Slobodzeya Polytechnic College. It is planned as part of the optimization of the system of secondary vocational education to reduce it, and send students and teachers to other educational institutions. The news about the closure of the only secondary specialized educational institution in the Slobodzeya district caused a wide public outcry among the local population. Deputy of the Supreme Council for the constituency number 21 "Slobodzeya" Pavel Shinkaryuk appealed to the President with a request to listen to the opinion of the Slobodzeya residents.
The deputies of the local district city council told the President how much the Slobodzeya Polytechnic University is in demand today. It makes 447 students. All of them are residents of Slobodzeya and nearby villages. The college employs 87 people. Approximately 40 of them are teachers who are also residents of Slobodzeya district and Slobodzeya.
The deputies of Slobodzeya District are concerned about the fate of the students of the Polytechnic College of Slobodzeya. There are graduates of a correctional boarding school, orphans, children from low-income families among them.
Having carefully listened to all the speeches and proposals of the concerned Slobodzeya residents, the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic proposed to continue this discussion at the site of the Presidential Administration.
They discussed plans to create a line for the processing of solid domestic waste in the village of Chobruchi on the basis of a local solid waste landfill. The Head of the administration of Chobruch Vitaly Turcan informed the President that there are already design developments, negotiations are underway with potential investors. There is also a serious problem associated with the lack of electricity. It is necessary to lay a power line. The costs will amount to approximately 2 million rubles. This will allow in the future the development of another topical area – land reclamation. Four agricultural enterprises, which use about 600 hectares of land, are ready to make them irrigated if it is technically possible. Vadim Krasnoselsky approved the initiative and instructed to work out the issue. Among the possible sources of financing is the investment program of the state unitary enterprise "Unified Distribution Electric Grids" or the program for the development of the reclamation complex of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
They discussed in the course of the meeting the development of agriculture in the region and in the republic, the implementation of the Capital Investment Fund in Slobodzeya district, and raised issues of foreign policy and security. The President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Vadim Krasnoselsky called on local deputies, the state administration and deputies of the Supreme Council to work together to solve the problems of the city, region and republic.
