A new patriotic mass event was launched in the republic by the Victory Day.

More than 9 thousand people walked along the main street of the capital with portraits of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War. Among the participants of the action there are deputies of the Supreme Council.

Victory Day was celebrated in the capital of Pridnestrovie with tears of joy. Here they remembered those who, for the sake of a peaceful sky over their heads, fought, forged a victory in the rear.

The leaders of the republic took part in the traditional military parade in honor of the Victory Day, which took place on the main square of Tiraspol.

The townspeople told family stories of relatives-soldiers before the parade in the main square of Tiraspol.

The Chairman of the Supreme Council congratulated the veterans of the Great Patriotic War and all Pridnestrovians on the Victory Day.

On the eve of May 9, the deputies of the Supreme Council Ilona Tyuryaeva and Oleg Petrik visited veterans of the Great Patriotic War.

Veterans of the Great Patriotic War Vladimir Gromov, Ivan Slyusar and Alexander Umerenkov left today from Pridnestrovie to Moscow, where together with veterans from other countries will take part in the parade.

The traditional "Zemlyanka" was held in the capital. On the eve of Victory Day veterans were congratulated by the President Vadim Krasnoselsky and Speaker of the Parliament Alexander Shcherba.
