The law-in-draft “On the republican budget-2019” remains at the top of the agenda of the upcoming plenary session of the Supreme Council. On the eve of the meeting, at which the draft budget will continue to be considered in the second reading, was discussed by members of “The Obnovlenie” faction. As the chairman, Peter Pasat, noted, more than 130 amendments have already been received for the law-in-draft. Alexander Korshunov, head of the relevant parliamentary committee, informed party members of the results of their consideration.

The topical issue within the framework of consideration of the draft budget in the second reading remains the search for a mechanism to increase the income of state employees. Earlier, the Supreme Council unanimously supported the amendment of the President on the increase in wages of public sector employees and pensions by 7%. Financial sources have already been identified. According to members of the faction, although the growth of citizens' income is not expected to be general, everyone should feel it equally.

Members of the faction supported the amendment introduced by deputies of the Committee on the problems of the AIC, which propose to provide in the budget of the next year 2 million rubles for the restoration of the ameliorative complex of the republic.

They also talked about how the law “On Procurement of Pridnestrovian Moldavian Progress”, recently adopted by the Supreme Council will work next year. The document will come into force on January 1, 2019 and provides for a completely new, more efficient approach to the implementation of procurement for the needs of the state. As parliamentarians note, in order for the mechanism to really work, a transitional stage is necessary. The head of the relevant parliamentary committee Alexander Korshunov proposed to prescribe an instruction to the government, which should determine in which area of budget financing they will test the new rules.
