The PMR Supreme Council leadership thanks the residents of Pridnestrovie – citizens of the Russian Federation for the active civic position that they showed by coming to the polling stations from 17 to 19 September.

The interests of Pridnestrovians in the State Duma of the Russian Federation of the VIII convocation will be represented by 7 parliamentarians, who were elected in single-mandate constituencies. Almost 60 thousand residents of the PMR took part in the elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation on September 17-19.

All voting points for the elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation completed their work at 20:00. Election commissions have started counting votes.

Festive music sounds, artists perform from the very morning in the capital's Palace of the Republic. Today, here, as well as at 26 other polling stations in Pridnestrovie, deputies are elected to the State Duma of the Russian Federation. Vice-speaker of the Pridnestrovian Parliament Galina Antyufeyeva came to fulfill her civic duty.

There is a polling station in Bendery at school No.18, where voting for the deputies of the State Duma of Russia from the Kaliningrad region is taking place. The Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov and his wife took part in the elections.

27 polling stations were opened on September 19, the main voting day for the elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation. All of them started work at 8:00 and will work until 20:00.

The Parliament Speaker Alexander Korshunov congratulated forestry workers and veterans on the Day of the Forestry and Woodworking Industry Workers.

The Supreme Council Chairman congratulated physical culture workers, athletes and sports veterans on their professional holiday.

The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky inspected socially significant objects in Dubossary that were built or repaired at the expense of the Capital Investment Fund. Deputy of the Supreme Council for the constituency No. 11 "Central" of Dubossary Boris German took part in the events.
