The Parliament Speaker: Voting for the Future of Russia and Pridnestrovie

There is a polling station in the city of Bendery at school number 18, where voting for the deputies of the State Duma of Russia from the Kaliningrad region is taking place. The Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Alexander Korshunov and his wife took part in the elections. According to the Speaker of the Parliament, this is a great honor and responsibility, because Pridnestrovians vote for both the future of Russia and the future of our republic.

The precinct commission notes the activity of voters. By 12:00 the turnout was 1054 residents of Bendery. Many people signed up for the on-site voting.

Residents of Bendery with Russian citizenship said that they vote for a decent future, for raising pensions, for peace on the Pridnestrovian land.

The Chairman of the City Council Yury Kara voted today together with residents of Bendery. He noted a large turnout at all polling stations in the city.

According to the Central Election Commission, 26.454 voters had voted in Pridnestrovie at 12:00. International observers who arrived in the republic from Russia to observe the course of voting and the observance of electoral legislation note the high level of organization of elections in the PMR. There were not recorded violations of electoral procedures.
