Gratitude to the residents of Pridnestrovie

The leadership of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic – Speaker Alexander Korshunov and Vice Speaker Galina Antyufeyeva thanked the residents of Pridnestrovie – citizens of the Russian Federation for their active civic position, which they showed by coming to polling stations from 17 to 19 September.

The PMR Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov emphasized that the Pridnestrovians, who are part of the Russian civilization, made the right choice by coming to the polling stations.

Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council of the PMR Galina Antyufeyeva, who heads the Renewal party and the Russian community of Tiraspol “Russian House”, also thanked for the active participation in the Duma elections of Pridnestrovians – citizens who came to the polling stations. The Vice-Speaker also expressed gratitude for the work of the members of election commissions, observers, volunteers and law enforcement officers who ensured the voting process at a high level.

During the elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation, which took place from 17 to 19 September, 27 polling stations were opened in the cities of Pridnestrovie. 59 233 Pridnestrovians with Russian citizenship came to vote for representatives in the VIII convocation of the State Duma.
