For the Day of forest workers

Dear forestry workers and veterans!

I congratulate you on your professional holiday - Day of the Forestry and Woodworking Industry on behalf of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and on my own behalf!

Your work is difficult and noble – you preserve and increase the forest resources of Pridnestrovie, protect forests from pests, diseases and fires, maintain a delicate balance between the original beauty of nature and the inevitable consequences of technological progress.

Forest resources without the application of human creative initiative and hard work are dead capital. Only the hands of real owners are able to create many necessary and comfortable things from a simple tree.

I am convinced that the timber merchants and foresters of the republic will be able to overcome the difficulties of the current stage and increase the efficiency of their activities, introduce progressive technologies into production, and ensure the dynamic development of both the timber industry complex and the forestry of the republic.
