The leadership of the PMR Supreme Council is on a working visit to Moscow

Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Alexander Korshunov, Vice Speaker Galina Antyufeeva and Plenipotentiary Representative of the Supreme Council in the Russian Federation for Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Olga Gukalenko took part in a round table in the Civic Chamber of Russia Today, January 25. Public and political figures, experts, scientists, representatives of national diasporas and compatriots spoke on the topic "Development of cultural and humanitarian cooperation with compatriots in modern geopolitical realities”. The issues of countering the distortion of historical truth were discussed. They talked about the violation of the rights of Russian citizens abroad and compatriots, including the topic of protecting the rights and freedoms of Russian citizens and compatriots living in Pridnestrovie as the basis of Russia's cultural and peacekeeping mission in the region.

The delegation of Pridnestrovie, headed by the Speaker of the Parliament Alexander Korshunov, which also includes representatives of the executive branch, local government and public organizations, met with the leadership of Rossotrudnichestvo this very morning, January 25. Pridnestrovian parliamentarians raised issues of interaction, participation in the projects of this organization, including youth projects, as well as expanding cooperation on youth projects.

Meetings of the leadership of the Supreme Council of the PMR with senators of the Federation Council and representatives of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation took place the day before, on January 24. Questions were raised about protecting the rights of citizens of the Russian Federation and compatriots, resuming the possibility of obtaining citizenship of the Russian Federation, the humanitarian sphere, and the formation of educational standards.
