Signed laws to increase pensions and child benefits

The President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Vadim Krasnoselsky signed today the laws on increasing from the 1st of February old-age pensions by 5% and benefits for citizens with children by 10%: one-time allowance for the birth (adoption) of a child, an allowance for caring for a child until he reaches 2 years of age, a monthly child allowance for low-income families. The President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic noted in his telegram channel that the next stage of a systematic increase is being implemented.

Relevant amendments to the laws on the republican budget of 2023, on the Unified State Social Insurance Fund and “On State Benefits for Citizens with Children”, received from the PMR President, were promptly adopted by the Supreme Council on the 18th of January.

The financial balances at the beginning of the year, in the amount of 145 million rubles, were used to increase pensions and child benefits.
