The PMR Supreme Council supported in the second final reading the law-in-draft of the PMR Government, which amends the law “On state pension provision for citizens in the PMR” and is intended to improve the legal regulation of the procedure for payment and delivery of pensions.
Parliamentarians adopted in the second final reading amendments and additions to the law “On the Fundamentals of Protecting Citizens’ Health”. Now the spouse, as well as close relatives of a citizen after his death will be able to get acquainted with and receive medical documentation and extracts from them. If during his lifetime the citizen or his legal representative did not prohibit the disclosure of such information.
The Supreme Council adopted a package of legislations aimed at tightening the rules for the circulation of nicotine-containing products to protect the life and health of children and youth in final reading. Nicotine-containing products will now include nicotine-free liquid, which means vapes containing or not containing nicotine. It is prohibited to sell them to persons under 18 years of age.
The one-time adoption benefit could increase 10 times. The Government's law-in-draft on amendments to the law “On State Benefits for Citizens with Children,” designed to encourage citizens to adopt orphans and children left without parental care, was considered by deputies of the Supreme Council in the first reading.
The PMR Supreme Council adopted amendments to the law “On burial and funeral affairs” in the second reading.
The fact of termination of employment relations can be established in court through special proceedings. The legislative initiative to introduce amendments to the Civil Procedure Code and the Labor Code, developed by deputies of the Committee on Social Policy, was supported by parliamentarians today at a plenary meeting in the first reading.
The PMR Supreme Council Deputies considered law-in-draft on amendments and additions to the law “On state support for large families” in the first reading. The initiative was prepared by a group of parliamentarians. it was presented at the plenary meeting by one of the authors, deputy Gregory Dyachenko.
The statement will be sent to the OSCE, the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, the head of the OSCE mission in Moldova, international participants in the negotiation process in the “5+2” format, the State Duma and the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
The PMR Supreme Council Deputies adopted in the first non-final reading the draft of the “Equal Opportunities” new state target program for 2025-2027. It was presented by the PMR Government.
The state will purchase three special vehicles instead of one fire ladder for Pridnestrovian firefighters this year as part of the implementation of the “Re-equipment of fire department service vehicles” for 2023 – 2031” state target program. The PMR President proposed making changes to the state program and the law on the republican budget for 2024.
