The PMR Supreme Council Deputies supported a package of legislations developed by deputies of the Committee on Education, Public Associations and Media on introducing amendments and additions to the law “On Cinematography” and the PMR Code of Administrative Offenses in the second final reading.

Deputies in the course of the plenary session voted to approve a package of legislative initiatives that will regulate online commerce in the second final reading.

Parliamentarians voted unanimously to adopt the law “On the Republican Budget 2024”. The main financial document of the republic is traditionally socially oriented. Chairman of the Supreme Council of the PMR Alexander Korshunov spoke about the main provisions of the new law.

Light industry occupies an important place in solving the problems of economic development of Pridnestrovie. We discussed with the general manager, the PMR Supreme Council Deputy Andrei Viktorovich Mezhinsky the current state of the industry as well as the activities of the flagship of the PMR light industry on the eve of the 50th anniversary of the Tirotex textile company.

The Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov congratulated employees of the PMR state security agencies on their professional holiday.

The 27th ceremony of awarding the winners of the “Person of the Year 2023” competition was held in the large hall of the Palace of the Republic in Tiraspol. This year's laureates were 11 representatives of various professions who have already written their names on the pages of the history of Pridnestrovie. Parliamentarians Galina Antyufeyeva, Sergey Cheban and Igor Buga took part in the ceremony.

The Public Chamber of Pridnestrovie reported today on its work in the 5th convocation. The report in the plenary hall of the PMR Supreme Council was heard by the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky, the PMR Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov, the PMR Supreme Council Deputy Chairman Galina Antyufeyeva, the PMR Government Chairman Alexander Rosenberg.

By decision of the Presidium of the Supreme Council the agendas of the plenary meetings to be held on December 20 and 21 were added.

The Republic will celebrate the 28th anniversary of the adoption of the PMR Constitution on December 24. One of the main sections of our Constitution is Title II. Rights, freedoms, responsibilities and guarantees of person and citizen.

Farewell ceremony was held today in the Church of St. Michael the Archangel in the village of Parkany for the PMR Supreme Council Deputy of the VII convocation Ivan Nedelkov. His life was cut short due to illness.
