The events dedicated to the 29th anniversary of the Bendery tragedy at the Memorial of Memory and Sorrow continued in Bendery. The memory of the victims was honored by the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky, the PMR Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov, the PMR Government Chairman Alexander Martynov, deputies of the Supreme Council and city councils, heads of ministries, representatives of public organizations, participants in hostilities, townspeople.

Requiem rally was held today at the memorial complex erected in memory of the fallen defenders - employees of the Tirotex company. The mourning event was attended by the Supreme Council Deputy Andrei Mezhinsky and deputies of the City Council of Tiraspol.

628 human lives were interrupted by the days of the tragedy in Bendery. There are 66 residents of Tiraspol among the fallen defenders. The memory of the fallen heroes was honored with a minute of silence at the capital's Memorial of Glory. Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council Galina Antyufeyeva took part in the event.

The PMR Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov addressed the residents of Bendery and Pridnestrovians on the Day of Memory and Mourning.

Employees of the Republican Clinical Hospital were congratulated on their professional holiday by the Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council Galina Antyufeyeva and of the Supreme Council Deputy Ilona Tyuryaeva on the eve of Medical Worker Day.

Delegation of representatives of the business circles of Belarus paid a short visit to Pridnestrovie. The Head of the delegation Maxim Krupeychenko was already in our republic in November-December.

Almost four hundred eleventh graders said goodbye to school in Bendery. The main celebrations were held yesterday at the Pavel Tkachenko Palace of Culture. The Parliament Speaker, Deputy for constituency No.1 "Solnechny" Alexander Korshunov came to congratulate the graduates.

Vice-speaker of the Pridnestrovian Parliament, Deputy for constituency No.25 Galina Antyufeyeva congratulated the graduates of the Tiraspol school No.14 located in the constituency.

The ceremony of honoring the graduates-medalists took place at the capital's fountain complex today. Gold and silver medals, certificates of honor were presented to graduates by the first persons of the state.
