Dear Pridnestrovians!
Dear residents of Bendery!
Today we bow our heads low, recalling the sad date in the history of the Pridnestrovian people - the 29th anniversary of the Bendery tragedy.
The pain of the Bendery tragedy will always live in the hearts of Pridnestrovians. The republic remembers and honors the feat of the soldiers who defended the freedom of our people, who defended our right to live on this land and speak our native language.
The inhabitants of the city defended not only their city, their future, they defended their state in those tragic days.
Today our sacred duty is to protect peace and quiet in the state, to live in friendship and harmony. For the sake of children and grandchildren before the blessed memory of all who died in that war. After all, it was for peace that our soldiers gave their lives, everyone who defended the freedom and independence of our republic with arms in hand.
We are united in our desire to live in a strong and prosperous country in which civil peace and harmony among all peoples are the components of the main values of our society.
May good deeds and undertakings aimed at strengthening and developing the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, for the benefit of every inhabitant of our Fatherland, be a bright memory to all the victims of this tragedy!
Eternal memory to the victims!
Peace, tranquility and prosperity to all residents of Pridnestrovie!
Chairman of the Supreme Council
of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic
