There is a polling station in Bendery at school No.18, where voting for the deputies of the State Duma of Russia from the Kaliningrad region is taking place. The Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov and his wife took part in the elections.

27 polling stations were opened on September 19, the main voting day for the elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation. All of them started work at 8:00 and will work until 20:00.

97.1% of the citizens of Pridnestrovie spoke in favor of recognizing the independence of the PMR and further joining the Russian Federation 15 years ago. The second referendum on the independence of Pridnestrovie was held in our republic on September 17, 2006.

At the extraordinary IV congress of the Union of Industrialists of Agrarians and Entrepreneurs of Pridnestrovie, industrialists, agrarians and entrepreneurs of the republic nominated Vadim Krasnoselsky as a candidate for President of the PMR.
