The PMR Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov held an informal meeting with members of the Expert Youth Council. Students and graduates of various specialties of PSU named after T.G. Shevchenko were interested in the legislative process and asked questions of concern to young Pridnestrovians.
The first elections to the Supreme Council of the 1st convocation were held in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Soviet Socialist Republic on November 25, 1990. There is practically no information about the elections, but it became an important transitional link from the proclamation of the republic to the beginning of the formation of its statehood.
