News of the Supreme Council

The PMR Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov held an informal meeting with members of the Expert Youth Council. Students and graduates of various specialties of PSU named after T.G. Shevchenko were interested in the legislative process and asked questions of concern to young Pridnestrovians.

The first elections to the Supreme Council of the 1st convocation were held in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Soviet Socialist Republic on November 25, 1990. There is practically no information about the elections, but it became an important transitional link from the proclamation of the republic to the beginning of the formation of its statehood.

The Supreme Council adopted amendments and additions to the 2021 budget in the mode of legislative necessity. The initiator was the PMR President.

The Supreme Council adopted in the first reading the amendments and additions proposed by the Government to the laws “On public-private partnership”, “On tax on corporate income”, “On lease of state and municipal property” and “On purchases in the PMR”.

The Supreme Council adopted amendments and additions to the law "On state support for large families" in the final reading.

The Supreme Council adopted amendments to the law "On some additional state measures aimed at minimizing the negative impact of external economic factors" in the final reading.

The Presidium of the Supreme Council made additions to the agenda of the next plenary sessions.

Deputies of the PMR Supreme Council took part in the celebration of the City Day in Rybnitsa and Slobodzeya.

The agricultural sector received significant support from the state in recent years. The leadership of the PMR Supreme Council told about this.

Accreditation of journalists for work in the Supreme Council next year is held from November 1 to 30.
