Partnership between the State and Private Business

Pridnestrovie developed and approved the Concept for the Development of Public-Private Partnership in 2015. The law "On public-private partnership" was also adopted to implement the Concept. The document reflects the interaction of the private and public sectors of the economy during the implementation of socially and socially significant projects. The republic needs to update social and engineering infrastructures, modernize housing and communal services, and develop the road network. The participation of private business in this can be of significant help. However, the law has not yet been implemented. According to the Government it is necessary in this regard to create more attractive conditions for investment and participation of the private sector in the implementation of socially significant projects.

The law-in-draft proposes to make the mandatory terms of the public-private partnership agreement more liberal.

The Supreme Council supported this initiative and adopted the law-in-draft in the first reading.
