The academic year has begun at the Tiraspol Agricultural and Technical College

The new academic year began at the Tiraspol Agricultural and Technical College named after M.V. Frunze. Celebratory assembly took place in the institution today. Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, Deputy of the Supreme Council for the constituency No.25 "Zapadny" Galina Antyufeyeva congratulated freshmen and teachers on the Day of Knowledge.

The Agrarian Technical College was the first educational institution of a new type in the Soviet Union – state farm technical school. Students received theoretical knowledge that they could immediately apply in practice. The educational institution had about 800 hectares of land for these purposes.

This year, the most popular are such technical specialties as operation and repair of agricultural machinery, maintenance and repair of cars, auto mechanic, organization of transportation and management of road transport, veterinary medicine. Despite the fact that the institution has completed the introductory campaign, there are still budget places in the specialty "Agronomy", "Garden and park and landscape construction" and "Technology of production and processing of agricultural products".

The institution is proud of its graduates. College teachers greeted vice-speaker Galina Antyufeyeva today not only as a deputy of the Supreme Council, in whose constituency the educational institution is located, but also as its graduate who graduated with honors from the college.

The team expressed gratitude to Galina Antyufeyeva for the help and attention provided to the institution. The Vice-Speaker of the Parliament presented state awards to the best teachers.
