Tiraspol will celebrate its 231st birthday this Saturday. A solemn meeting was held in the building of the capital's state administration on this occasion. It was attended by the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky, the PMR Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov, the PMR Government Chairman Alexander Rosenberg and parliamentarians.
Deputies of the Supreme Council Galina Antyufeeva and Ilona Tyuryaeva presented at the central office of “Renewal” party the state awards and certificates to the most active and caring residents of constituency No. 25 “Western” and No. 28 “Central” on the eve of the 231st anniversary of the formation of Tiraspol.

Deputies approved amendments to the law “On Pledge” at the last plenary meeting. The law-in-draft presented by the PMR President was adopted in the second final reading.
The law-in-draft “On advocacy and the legal profession in the PMR” was adopted in the second non-final reading by the Supreme Council. The Committee on Legislation will prepare the document for adoption in the third reading.
The Supreme Council adopted in the second final reading the Criminal Code amendments concerning the expansion of signs of extremist activity for which they can be held accountable.
The deputy corps supported in the first reading a package of legislations on amendments and additions to the PMR Law “On Cinematography” and the Code of Administrative Offenses.
The law-in-draft, which returns to the Ministry of Education the right to determine the procedure and timing of current and intermediate certification in schools and technical schools, was adopted in two readings at once.
Heads of parliamentary committees and commissions gathered today in online format at the meeting of the Presidium, which was held by the Chairman of the PMR Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov. Current issues of legislative activity were discussed.
